Interesting events are taking place in Van, the world's largest soda lake and Turkey's largest lake.
In the summer, children's hair on the lake begins to turn yellow. In winter, it returns to normal.
Dr. Sadaddin Coskun said that children's hair turns yellow under the influence of soda water:
"Children who enter the lake wash their hair with clean water after leaving it. Sodium combines with the sun's rays and the hair begins to turn yellow."
Lake Van is also good for some skin problems.
