In the Republic of South Africa (CAR), lions dismembered the man who rescued them many years ago.
According to The Daily Star, two lions unexpectedly attacked the man and tore him to pieces.
Interestingly, the lover of the deceased man thinks differently.
He said the lions had decided to play a tough game with his girlfriend and the real cause of death would be known after the body was dissected and examined.
It is noted that the lions that killed their owner caused the death of another person in a similar incident in 2017. However, the deceased, who defended the animals at the time, tried to prove that they were not aggressive.
The lions were placed in a shelter. They are expected to be released into the wild.
