The statement came from Akif Gurbanov, chairman of the medical-scientific committee under the board of the Medical Territorial Units Management Union, Gadin.Net reports.
He said that today, asymptomatic people infected with the virus are simply treated with vitamins:
"In general, people with asymptomatic transmission of the virus are not prescribed antiviral drugs for home treatment. This only applies to patients with symptoms in a hospital setting. I would also like to note that today the number of coronavirus patients in hospitals has decreased.
