The results of the entrance exams for groups II and III have been announced

The State Examination Center has announced the results of the entrance exams held on August 13-14, 2020 for specialty groups II and III.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, entrants participating in the exam will be able to see the results of the exam, graphic descriptions of the "answer card" and "answer sheet", as well as evaluation criteria for each open type of task (probable correct answers, solutions and assessment scale).
You can get acquainted with the exam results at https://eservices.dim.gov.az/2020/netbak/?frm=egov.
Applicants can also learn about the results of the exam by sending the "job number" to 7727 through mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar, Naxtel).
Out of 36,840 entrants who approved the application to participate in the exam, 2,395 did not take part in the exam. Eight entrants were expelled for violating the rules and the results were annulled.

A graduate of the Gymnasium of Natural Sciences in Sumgayit, who scored 394.3 points in the second specialty group, showed the highest result in the exam. He scored a total of 688.4 points in both stages, which is the highest score in the II specialty group.

A graduate of school No. 276, Binagadi district, Baku, who scored 400 points in the third specialty group, showed the highest result. He scored 300 points in the first stage of the exam, thus gaining a maximum of 700 points for the sum of both stages.

From August 31, 2020, the Ministry of Education and Science will organize an online appeal process (via the "Zoom" program or by telephone) to consider appeals related to the results of the exam. Before applying to the Appeals Commission, students should familiarize themselves with their results, the graphic description of the answer sheet, and the assessment criteria for each open-ended task on the SEP website, on the exam results page. The experience of previous examinations shows that about 30% of applicants did not answer the task at all or applied to the commission without comparing the possible correct answers with their answers, the evaluation scale. We would like to inform the applicants that such appeals will not be considered.

Those wishing to apply to the Appeals Commission can register by filling out an electronic application, which will be posted on the MFA website from August 30 to September 1. Those who do not register within this period will not be able to appeal later. If the content of the appeal is not specified in the electronic application, the application will not be accepted, the appeal will not be investigated and no appeal will be filed for it. It is important that the student participates in the appeal hearing. Along with the student, one of the parents may participate in the discussion. A maximum of 15 minutes can be spent on a student's application. At the end of the allotted time, the discussion process is stopped when an outsider joins the discussion or the rules of ethical conduct are violated.

It should be noted that information will be provided on the dates of selection of specialties for applicants who meet the conditions of the competition.
