Clinical trials of Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine will begin in September.
The statement came from the Belarusian Health Ministry.
A statement from the Eastern European country said that Russian and Belarusian experts were actively cooperating on this issue:
"Belarus has already determined the location of clinical trials and is currently clarifying technical issues related to the conduct of tests in accordance with national and international regulations."
Belarus will be the first country to use a vaccine developed by Russia.
