"Parents who don't want to send their children to school can choose online classes."
The statement came from Education Minister Emin Amrullayev on AzTV's "Target" program, Gadin.Net reports.
"If the area where the school is located is considered dangerous or relatively dangerous by epidemiological agencies, we plan to send students to school twice a week, and three times in areas where there has been no infection for a long time. Both curricula will be in force.
In addition, if parents think that it is risky for them to send their children to school under the given conditions, starting from September 1, they can also join TV lessons and online school broadcasted by the Culture Channel of the State Television. Parental choice is allowed. That is, if a parent considers the situation risky, can provide his child only with online education, or if he wants to send him to school, he can send him to school in accordance with the relevant curriculum.
The Minister also noted that videos on more than 2,100 general education areas were shot within the TV lessons project and posted on the relevant video portal of the Ministry of Education:
"We are in favor of continuing these programs at least until March. In the sense that we will have video lessons and TV lessons for a whole year. In the post-pandemic period, it will become an invaluable teaching material for our students. In addition, we plan to integrate these TV lessons into e-textbooks after the process. ”
