What will be the money left on the balance of replaceable smart-card meters?

Starting this year, smart-card type meters will be replaced with mechanical meters in all private houses in Azerbaijan (except for newly built multi-storey buildings), which expire.
During this process, the main concern of subscribers is the placement of the remaining amount in the balance of the replaced smart-card type meters in the database of the newly installed mechanical type meter.
According to the Azerigas Production Association, this advance amount is registered on the account of the new meter for at least 10, maximum 30 days by exchanging information between two different databases.
During the first seven months of this year, the advance amount of 913,624 manat of 53,270 subscribers was returned to the base of the newly installed meter. From these statistics, 40,946 subscribers and their returned advance amount of 697,262 manat fall to the share of Baku alone.

It is noted that in connection with the coronavirus pandemic in our country, there have been delays in the process of strict quarantine. However, later the shortcomings were eliminated.

It should be noted that the replacement of meters is carried out in accordance with the document "Nomenclature list of measuring and testing instruments to be submitted for inspection and their inspection frequency" approved by the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control in 2015.

The document states that gas meters are submitted for state inspection every five years in the group of population subscribers, and every three years in the group of non-population subscribers. According to the list, in 2020, the state inspection of 480,000 meters should be carried out.
