An operation was performed in India that surprised the medical world.
Doctors removed a tumor weighing about 107 kilograms from the body of a 52-year-old woman, Qadin.Net telegraf.com reports.
The tumor is said to cover 45% of the patient's body weight. The operation, which weighed about 107 kilograms, took more than three hours to remove.
Dr. Arun Prasad, who took part in the operation at a hospital in the capital Delhi, said it was the first time he had witnessed such an incident in his 30-year career. The patient is said to be in good condition.
