Russian scientists have presented a medical-biological device that detects airborne viruses, including COVID-19, at the Army 2020 forum.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by Alexander Novikov, director general of the Krasnogorsk plant named after Zverev.
According to him, the device, which is based on automation, is able to analyze air samples for 10-30 minutes, to determine the presence of viruses, bacteria and toxins.
It is noted that the device was developed jointly with the Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology named after NF Gamaleya.
It was also noted that the state tests of the device were completed in June and its certification is already being prepared.
