Which smartphone screen is harmful to humans has been announced

Most modern smartphones use OLED screens based on organic LED technology. According to many studies, due to the brightness of OLED screens, people experience headaches, fatigue and dry eyes shortly after using them.
According to Prime, this was stated by Vladimir Gritsenko, an expert on the "Digital Citizen" platform of the NAFI (National Agency for Financial Research) in Russia.
The brightness of these screens is almost always 100 percent, and when the user lowers it (often due to wide-pulse modulation), the backlight of the screen begins to flash at a certain frequency according to its level. The lower the brightness - the clearer the pulsation of the screen and the more tired the eyes. The flash of the screen is not visible to the human eye, but it can be seen if the camera of another smartphone is aimed at it, "said the expert.
If the eyes are tired of the "OLED-screen", it is better to use it at a maximum brightness, because there will be less glare. However, the brightness can be excessive for the room.
Some smartphones also have software solutions installed, such as DC Dimming on Android and White Dot Reduction on iOS. When using them, the screen almost completely stops blinking. However, color transmission may be impaired, "Gritsenko said.
Another option is to use a smartphone with an IPS screen, like some models of iPhone XR, Xiaomi, Huawei. IPS is a liquid crystal display technology widely used in smartphones.
IPS screens are cheaper than OLED screens, but thicker and transmit less saturated colors. "In addition, IPS panels do not fade, and OLED screens change their brightness over time, and some pixels may be brighter than others," Gritsenko added.
