Researchers at Fujita Health University in Japan say ozone therapy, which is used sparingly to treat coronavirus, has shown positive results.
Ozone therapy has been shown to neutralize new types of coronavirus particles, Gadin.Net reports citing publika.az. Disinfection of hospitals has begun with this method of treatment. According to scientists, the use of ozone gas at a level of 0.1 or 0.5 per million, which is considered harmless to human health, can destroy the virus.
The researchers conducted an experiment using an ozone generator in a room sealed with COVID-19. Ozone concentrations were applied for 10 hours, which reduced the spread of the virus by 90 percent. It has been concluded that the new ozone therapy is effective in clearing hospitals of coronavirus:
"Constant and low ozone concentrations can reduce the spread of the virus, even in human environments. Particularly effective in high humidity conditions The hospital in Aichi province has already installed ozone generators in patient rooms and waiting rooms to reduce the level of infection.
Although ozone has been shown to be effective in neutralizing many disease germs, its low levels have been shown to be potentially harmful to human health.
