How can teaching be restored in kindergartens and schools? - OFFER from an expert

Due to the high risk of infection in children in secondary schools, classes can be held several days a week. On the remaining days, the training should be conducted online.
Education expert Elchin Suleymanov told Trend, Gadin.Net reports.
According to him, it is possible to apply different teaching schemes in primary school, as there is a problem of children's adaptation to the rules of behavior.
E. Suleymanov added that if there are cases of mass infections, it may be possible to limit the activities of the school for some time:
"Schools and kindergartens have been restored in countries that have successfully combated the pandemic and managed to localize the infection," he said, adding that in many countries, standards have been set for the education of pupils and students. According to these standards, the number of students and students sitting in the room is regulated. In Russia, it will be mandatory for teachers, pupils and students to use medical masks indoors.

E. Suleymanov believes that the low level of coronavirus infection as a result of preventive measures implemented in Azerbaijan creates conditions for the resumption of the activities of educational institutions within certain limits. Systematic application of safety rules in rehabilitated institutions and control over their implementation is an important condition both in terms of ensuring the health of children and preventing the spread of the virus.

As for kindergartens, E. Suleymanov noted that children are fed in the same place and sleep in the same room, so they have a high risk of infection. According to him, the resumption of kindergartens should be allowed, taking into account the sanitary-epidemiological situation. In areas where there is little or no infection, kindergartens may be allowed to operate sooner, and in cities and districts with a high risk of infection, after the necessary indicators have been obtained or later:

“Training in pre-school groups can take place several days a week. For example, if 6 or 8 hours of teaching per week is specified, 2-3 hours per week 2 or 3 days may be considered as one of the options. It is also possible to form semi-groups to avoid overcrowding.

E. Suleymanov believes that the application of traditional education in higher and secondary special education institutions can lead to undesirable results in this area. The form of distance education in this direction is more acceptable.
