Fatty and high-calorie coffee drinks such as sweet, milky, syrupy or creamy can be fattening.
The statement came from Natalia Kruglova, a specialist at the Russian National Association of Nutritionists and Nutritionists, Gadin.Net reports citing publika.az. He noted that such drinks should be drunk by people who want to gain weight.
"If sugar, cream and syrup are added to coffee, this drink turns into a high-calorie product that does not contain the necessary amount of vitamins and minerals. These are just empty carbohydrates and saturated fats. If you want to gain weight, you can use these drinks, "the expert said.
In addition, the nutritionist expressed doubts about the addition of alternative types of milk - walnuts, buckwheat and oats, soy to coffee. According to Natalia Kruglova, this should be done only by those who are intolerant to milk protein. The fact is that the nutritional value of such products is very low. Cow's milk is more valuable in terms of amino acids than plant milk.
