Taking into account the measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, the Board of the Ministry of Education on 21.05.2020 approved the "Temporary Rules for the certification (in-school assessment) of students in general education."

According to him, according to the rules, the semi-annual scores and grades of students for the first half of the academic year were accepted as their annual scores and grades for the academic year:
"Students of V-VIII and X grades, who do not agree with the annual grade in any subject, have the opportunity to apply to the general education institution for the organization of re-assessment in school.
According to preliminary data, about 20,000 students have applied for this right.
Taking into account that a special quarantine regime is applied in the country until August 31, 2020, the process of re-assessment of knowledge of students who do not agree with the annual grade or do not assess knowledge is carried out between August 21-31, 2020 by choosing one or both of the following two forms It is recommended to hold:
1. Online on the Microsoft Teams platform;
2. Outdoors in schools.
Outdoor assessment is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) during examinations" (attached).
In order to determine the form of assessment, the school administration should study the school's material base, technical support and access to the Internet resources of students and teachers, based on the results of the study, decide on the form of assessment and inform teachers, parents and students.
In addition, according to the results of in-school assessment in grades II-VIII and X, the transfer of students from class to class is regulated by the "Temporary rules for the transfer of students from class to class in general education institutions."
