"Distance learning in secondary schools can result in a decline in the educational process."
The statement came from Nadir Israfilov, an expert in the field of education and deputy chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Education, Qadin.Net reports.
He noted that staying away from classrooms for long periods of time could lead to a loss of students' habits in the school environment, which, in accordance with the traditional method, will create problems with adaptation during classes: “Therefore, online and traditional I think a mixed education format would be appropriate, where the lessons are together. To date, this is the most realistic forecast. This is not only my subjective opinion, but the desire of the majority. But the final result will depend on the epidemiological situation in the country. We must not forget that not only the form, but also the content is important.
The expert believes that even if the epidemiological situation allows the restoration of traditional education in schools, the project "Virtual School" and TV lessons broadcast on television should be continued: "All these remote models are needed to modernize our education, interactivity and readiness for new challenges." Digital technologies and virtuality are the demands of the time. We have extensive experience in TV lessons since the Soviet era, and distance education is reflected in our education legislation. ”
