The first recipient of the Russian-made COVID-19 vaccine, which has been tested twice, has been announced.
Belarus will be the first country to receive the coronavirus vaccine, Qadin.Net reports quoting TASS.
The agreement was reached during a telephone conversation between President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Russia Vladimir Putin today.
According to the agreement, Belarusian citizens will take part in the third test phase of the vaccine, followed by a mass sale.
The two presidents also exchanged views on the protests in Belarus.
