The book "General Polad Hashimov in Memories" has been published!
The book "General Polad Hashimov in Memories" was published in the "Memory Literature" series of "Target Publications".
According to the publishing house, the 268-page book is dedicated to Major General Polad Hashimov, who was heroically killed in the battles in the direction of Tovuz on July 14. The book contains memories of family members, comrades and soldiers of the front, various professionals about Polad Hashimov. The "Polad Hashimov in photos" section of the book, which covers 60 pages, contains photos taken at various moments in the life of the late general from his childhood. "General Polad Hashimov in Memories" is the first full book dedicated to Major General Polad Hashimov.
Target Publications also announced that it will donate the first edition of the book. The founder of the publishing house, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Shamil Sadig said: “The book“ General Polad Hashimov in Memories ”was written as a result of the moral anxiety of me and the“ Target Publications ”team. So, like everyone else in the known events in Tovuz, we were deeply concerned and decided to implement this project to pay our moral debt to our July martyrs, at least in part. While working on this project, there were many people who showed support from different places. Such an approach to the brave son of Azerbaijan, the homeland of all of us, really made us proud, and we realized that we are not alone in this process. On behalf of myself and Target Publications, I would like to thank Halal and our friends for their voluntary support. At the same time, I would like to thank the Target Publications team for doing all the work very professionally. To successfully complete the project, we will present the first edition of the book with a circulation of 2,000 to the public.
Sabuhi Shahmursoy, Director of Target Publications, said that while discussing the gift list, we paid attention to the issue of reaching the maximum audience of the book: “After the announcement of the book, we received numerous appeals from various organizations and individuals. We tried to take them into account, but these appeals are many times more than we expected. As promised, we first presented this book to the general's mother, Samaya Hashimova.
