German doctors have found signs of COVID-19 in the hearts of coronavirus patients.
According to Qadin.Net, this information was published by Oxford Academic magazine.
Although the patients were initially diagnosed with "myocarditis", they were later diagnosed with coronavirus.
"Even if the coronavirus is latent, the symptoms of COVID-19 can be detected during a heart biopsy even after the patient has recovered," said Philipp Wentsel, a professor at the German Cardiovascular Center.
