Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the discovery of a Black Sea gas field at the Dolmabahçe Office.
This was reported by HaberGlobal.
He said that a natural gas field with reserves of 320 billion cubic meters was discovered in the Tuna-1 region in the Black Sea:
"Dear nation, yes, I want to share our good news to live together happily. Turkey has made the largest natural gas discovery in its history in the Black Sea. The Fatih ship has discovered a field with 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves in the Tuna-1 well. Many new natural gas discoveries are expected. This reserve is only a part of it. I hope it will continue as soon as possible. "
Erdogan noted that the country's three drilling and two seismic research vessels are fully equipped with Turkish equipment:
"Along with our ships, which cost less than world prices, the unit cost of drilling is very low."
Erdogan noted that the goal is to present Black Sea gas to the people in 2023.
