President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree granting additional powers to the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations (ASAN Service) in the field of customs and migration services.
According to the decree, the State Agency is authorized to provide information on customs statistics of foreign trade related to the provision of services in the field of customs, advice and information on customs legislation.
Issuance of temporary and permanent residence permits to foreigners and stateless persons in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as work permits for paid employment, receipt and response to inquiries related to the determination of a person's citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Registration of stateless persons at the place of residence in the Republic of Azerbaijan, extension of temporary stay of foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan, acceptance of applications from persons residing in the Republic of Azerbaijan on acquisition, restoration and renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Unified State Migration Service The task of issuing references from the Migration Information System on the activities of the Service lıb.
The State Agency was also instructed to correct and amend the errors in the records of civil status acts, to cancel the records of civil status acts, and to restore the lost records of civil status acts.
At the same time, according to the new decree, the state will register farmers, suppliers and suppliers of agricultural services, as well as other agricultural entities in the Electronic Agricultural Information System for inclusion in the system of documents related to the provision of subsidies to farmers.
