US President Donald Trump wanted to replace the island of Puerto Rico with Danish Greenland.
According to Gadin.Net, The Daily Beast quotes Miles Taylor, a former employee of the US Department of Homeland Security.
He said he personally heard these words from Trump in August 2018.
Taylor noted that at that time, employees of the US Presidential Administration often traveled to Puerto Rico to help deal with the aftermath of the hurricane:
"Before he left, he said he didn't just want to get Greenland, maybe he would sell Puerto Rico or change to Greenland. Because Puerto Rico is dirty, and the people there are poor. "
Taylor said Trump was hostile to Puerto Rico.
