"Infections related to the coronavirus pandemic are expected to increase in the autumn. Many experts make predictions about this. "
The statement came from World Health Organization (WHO) Representative in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci.
According to him, in the new period, the WHO will put forward new measures based on the information learned about the disease so far:
"The WHO will reconsider the points it has examined so far. It no longer recommends that the country return to a strict quarantine regime. However, it recommends the re-introduction of quarantine measures in certain areas and the responsible approach of people to the rules.
It is important to localize the fight against the virus and review the situation with the disease in the regions.
H. Harmanci noted that the investigation of infected people, with whom he is in close contact, is extremely important:
"This point must be taken into account and their transmission to healthy people must be prevented. Therefore, people will be free to walk the streets. However, it is impossible to stand indoors, in front of banks without medical masks, to communicate with other people.
If these rules are followed responsibly, it is possible to continue the fight against the disease in a more lenient form, taking preventive measures, local closures, rather than the application of strict, strict quarantines in the countries.
