Following the further spread of coronavirus infection in Europe and the lifting of a number of restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, new entry rules for tourists are being considered.
According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by Vestnik ATOR.
The European Union (EU) said in a statement that the closure of borders and the imposition of travel restrictions were hampering the flow of tourists.
Therefore, the possibility of foreigners taking a double test for COVID-19 is being discussed.
A similar scheme will be implemented in Iceland today - under the new conditions, all tourists will be required to quarantine for five days and two tests.
The first test is given immediately after arrival, the second - on the fourth or fifth day of quarantine. If the results of both tests are negative, those who come to the country can leave the isolation regime.
