The Democratic Party of the United States has approved the candidacy of California Senator Kamala Harris for the presidency in the November elections.
According to TASS, the decision was made at the party's congress in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In his speech, Harris agreed to run for office.
Harris is a professional lawyer. He served as Attorney General of California from 2011-2017.
