The dangers of eye pencils and lipsticks in the spread of a new type of coronavirus have been revealed.
The statement came from Mehmet Ceyhan, head of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Medical Faculty of Hacettepe University in Turkey, Qadin.Net reports quoting publika.az.
The professor said that the virus is more likely to be transmitted through cosmetics, especially in beauty salons. He cited the repeated use of cosmetics in such centers without sterilization.
"Using one eyeliner on several clients for 4-5 hours increases the risk of infection. The main reason for this, as we all know, is that the virus stays alive on objects for several hours," Ceyhan said.
In conclusion, the professor called on women to follow the rules of hygiene to prevent infection, especially not to use other people's cosmetics.
