From August 20, the activity of courts in Azerbaijan will be fully restored.
According to the Supreme Court, taking into account the recommendations of the World Health Organization to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers on easing the quarantine regime in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the courts were recommended:
Acceptance of all cases in the courts of Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingachevir, Sumgayit, Yevlakh and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Salyan districts, where the strict quarantine regime has been applied since August 20, 2020. to be fully restored.
In all courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
To resolve other necessary issues arising from the recommendations of the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the work regime of judges and court staff;
Due to the suspension of the reception of citizens, the reception should be carried out only by telephone, mobile and Internet;
Judicial activity shall be carried out in accordance with the necessary social behavior and sanitary-epidemiological rules established by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Ensure that judges, court staff and citizens use protective masks, observe personal hygiene, medical and preventive rules, as well as social distance during their stay in court buildings. Carry out regular disinfection of administrative buildings of courts and provide them with protective and hygienic means.
