Kim Jong Un has banned the keeping of dogs in the country

The North Korean government is forcing citizens to hand over their domestic dogs because they are a symbol of capitalism.
According to Qadin.Net, this was reported by the Daily Mail.
In July, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared it illegal to own a dog. He called domestic dogs "a perverted trend of bourgeois ideology."
Pet owners fear that their dogs will be used to alleviate the country's food shortages.
It is noted that domestic dogs in the country are forcibly taken from their owners, some are sent to zoos, and some are given to dog restaurants.
