President Ilham Aliyev has issued an order on conferring higher military ranks to servicemen of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the order, the following servicemen of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan were awarded the highest military ranks:
Military rank of "lieutenant general"
Major General Araz Mammad oglu Mammadova
to Major-General Firuz Boyukaga oglu Shirin-zade
to Major-General Niyamaddin Maharram oglu Tagiyev
Military rank of "major general"
Colonel Agshin Ramiz oglu Maharramova
to Colonel Muzaffar Alasgar oglu Pirizade.
