One of the five additional express lines organized to meet the growing passenger demand in connection with the easing of the special quarantine regime, the M10 express line will start operating on 17.08.2020.
Buses on the M10 line will run from a bus stop in Mardakan settlement, in the area called the old railway station. Appropriate marking works have been carried out in the area.
Modern and comfortable 12-meter buses operated by BakuBus LLC will be at the service of passengers on the express lines, which will operate from 06:30 to 21:00. According to the demand, 18-meter buses will also be involved in the lines.
With the commissioning of the M10 line, other residential areas in the direction of Mardakan, Shagan, Bina and Yeni Surakhani settlements will be directly connected to the city center. This will allow about 13,000 passengers to travel to and from the city center daily. Along this line, 10 stops have been identified in one direction, which are the main points of attraction considered necessary. Lets` noted that, the route of buses on M10 express line was determined in Mardakan settlement - "Nariman Narimanov" metro station.
Due to the quarantine regime, the BakuKart payment terminal on the M10 line is being installed at the points considered necessary at this stage. We ask our passengers to meet this with understanding and plan to increase the balance of "BakiKart" at the addresses with terminals.
Buses on the M9 express line will be launched in the coming days.
