Japan will no longer take part in wars.
The statement came from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at a commemoration ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of the capitulation, Gadin.Net reports.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers stressed:
"We will continue to declare that we will not take part in wars again."
Abe paid tribute to the memory of all Japanese who died during World War II. He noted that Japan is determined to continue cooperation with the world community to address various issues.
Then the Emperor of Japan Naruhito expressed confidence that the Japanese will overcome the coronavirus pandemic and any related difficulties.
