Officers of the Mingachevir City Police Department found an active coronavirus patient who left his house illegally in the administrative territory of the city and facilitated the transmission of the virus to others.
The Sheki regional group of the Interior Ministry's Press Service reported.
It was reported that Yasin Farzaliyev, a resident of the city who tested positive for coronavirus, was prescribed treatment at home, but he did not follow the rules of isolation and left his address.
His address in the city was immediately determined and a medical team was called. Prophylactic talks were held with Farzaliyev and he was returned to his address.
An investigation is underway at the Mingachevir City Police Department.
