Thousands of Britons vacationing in France, the Netherlands and Malta want to return home.
According to RIA Novosti, they are evading the two-day quarantine, which will be applied in France from Saturday.
According to local transport companies, trains from France to the United Kingdom are crowded and there are no tickets left.
The British government has announced a two-week quarantine from August 15 for visitors from France, the Netherlands, Malta, Monaco, Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as the coastal areas of Aruba, part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
This is due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 infections in those areas.
