Second wave of anxiety: smoking was banned

Concerns about a second wave of the pandemic have been lifted in Galicia, Spain.
Smoking in public places is prohibited in cases where social distance is not provided, Qadin.Net reports citing publika.az.
The decision came into force today. The president of the autonomous region, Alberto Nunez Feico, said they had taken this step on the advice of experts. According to him, smoking carries a high risk of infection.
Along with Galicia, similar measures will be taken in the regions of Andalusia, Castilla Leon and Castilla English Channel.
According to the World Health Organization, smokers are more vulnerable to infection and can become infected more quickly due to hand-to-mouth contact.
