The Institute of Education has proposed to organize a general education procedure in secondary schools during the quarantine period.
According to Gadin.Net, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Institute does not consider it possible to organize education in general education institutions in accordance with the traditional order (curricula). application is possible.
The organization of education can be carried out taking into account the characteristics of different levels of education and the possible impact of the activities of educational institutions on the epidemiological situation. The Ministry of Education should provide TV lessons in all subjects and classes and continue the Virtual School project.
In case of resumption of activities, it is recommended to apply appropriate curricula in accordance with the existing "yellow" and "orange" zones in the country. In this case, some subjects can be taught in classrooms and others online. In order to manage the density, if the number of students in the class is more than 20, it is considered expedient to divide the class into subgroups.
According to the adapted curricula, some subjects will be taught online and others in the classroom in the traditional way.
Students are expected to come 3 times a week in the yellow zones and 2 times in the orange zones. In some cases, this number may vary slightly depending on the number of students in the school. Relevant content changes will be made, especially considering that first-graders have not yet completed the school preparation program. It is planned to conduct relevant online trainings and instructions for teachers on this issue. It is planned to measure the temperature of both teachers and students at the entrance to the school building, use medical masks, maintain social distance, carry out regular disinfection and other sanitary and hygienic standards after coordination with the relevant authorities. Classes organized at the school in the upper grades should be mainly aimed at solving tasks, providing additional explanations, and supporting students. The organization of the assessment may also be considered during these hours. In the event of a sharp deterioration of the epidemiological situation, if strict quarantine measures are applied, the activities of educational institutions should be stopped completely.
It should be noted that the "yellow" or "orange" zones are determined by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers according to the epidemiological situation according to the number of virus spreads.
