The United States plans to produce about 600 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine if approved by experts.
According to Gadin.Net, TASS reports that US President Donald Trump said this at a briefing for journalists.
"We have some good news about vaccinations. An agreement has been reached with a company called Moderna to produce 100 million doses of vaccine. "Once the federal government finances the doses, we will get them," Trump said.
Trump added that the three candidate vaccines are already in the final stages of clinical trials and that the government is investing heavily in the production of the vaccine. Another 500 million doses will be produced immediately after it is approved by experts.
