Xiaomi has introduced a transparent TV called Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition on the occasion of its tenth anniversary.
We are talking about a fully transparent TV, which is in mass production. It is equipped with a 5.7-millimeter-thick 55-inch transparent OLED screen. In addition, the TV has a high refresh rate of 120 GHz. The panel is also characterized by a 10-bit color depth and 93 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The reaction time of the screen is 1 millisecond.
Equipped with a single-crystal system MediaTek 9650, the device supports MEMC and Dolby Atmos motion compensation technology. There is no information on the release date of the TV, which will cost $ 7,100.
It should be noted that transparent TVs have been shown before. Thus, Panasonic demonstrated the first such device at the IFA in 2019, LG in 2017, and Samsung in 2016. But now we are talking about the device, which was put into commercial use for the first time.
