A woman diagnosed with coronavirus in the village of Garajalar in Georgia's Gardabani region was also diagnosed with anthrax.

The patient was admitted to Rustavi Central Hospital on August 11 with symptoms typical of anthrax. A woman with a high temperature has been tested for anthrax and coronavirus. In both cases, the response was positive.
It should be noted that a special quarantine regime was applied in Garajalar village from July 24 to August 10.
