Tarlan Mammadov, an Azerbaijani professor at Turkey's Mediterranean University, is developing a vaccine that can prevent the coronavirus. He is working on this work with a staff of about 20 people.

Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Mediterranean University Tarlan Mammadov, who developed the vaccine with about 20 masters and graduate students, said in an interview that work is underway to develop vaccines against COVID-19. For this purpose, several samples of vaccines were prepared and tested on animals.
According to Tarlan Mammadov, one of the most important issues is the analysis of blood taken from patients infected with COVID, but later recovered. Positive results have been obtained in this direction.

Tarlan Mammadov also noted that the vaccine will be tested on humans at the next stage and the public will be informed about it.
