The list of 278,000 people entitled to receive a lump sum payment (190 manat) in 13 cities and regions where the hardened special quarantine regime is applied has already been sent to the relevant banks.
The statement came from Fazil Talibov, head of the public relations and communications department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSP).
He said that payments will begin in the coming days:
"The funds will be transferred to the bank cards issued by banks to citizens to receive a lump sum payment in May, and they will be officially informed about it.
Unemployed and private people from Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingachevir, Sumgayit, Yevlakh and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Salyan regions It will be given to low-income people working informally who lose their income in the quarantine regime.
