In the Belarusian capital, Minsk, 250 local women took to the streets in white dresses and flowers.
According to Qadin.Net, MK.ru reports that they lined up hand in hand to protest against the violence in the country.
The women asked for the votes to be counted correctly in the elections. Like other peaceful protesters, they said they were "disabled, unarmed."
Mass protests have been taking place in Belarus over the past few days against the re-election of Alexander Lukashenko as president for the sixth time. More than 5,000 people were reportedly detained in the first two days.
