According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on providing new financial support to businesses, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy has started the process of transferring funds to individual (micro) entrepreneurs.
According to the Ministry of Economy, within the second stage of financial support, individual (micro) entrepreneurs who need such support the most and received a lump sum payment of 250 manat in the first stage are reimbursed.
Starting from August 11, financial support was transferred to the bank accounts of 49,421 individual (micro) entrepreneurs within the second phase. Unlike the first stage, this time there is no need for taxpayers to apply again. Payments for financial support are made to taxpayers who have previously received this support.
It should be noted that under the first phase of the program of financial support to individual (micro) entrepreneurs, 111,209 applications received and approved so far have been submitted for transfer of financial support to bank accounts. The amount of financial support for approved applications is 63.66 million manat. As part of the first phase, 63.55 million manat has already been transferred to the bank accounts of 106,907 individual (micro) entrepreneurs.
In the near future, the process of paying part of the salaries of employees working in areas affected by the pandemic will begin. According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, taxpayers working in areas affected by the pandemic, who received financial support and did not make significant reductions in the number of employees in response to the call of the President, will receive a monthly salary fund as of July 1, 2020. financial support will be provided. Financial support will be paid in equal installments in two stages, covering August and September.
