"Currently, the current situation with the virus in our country is not the second wave of the virus."
The statement came from Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze, Qadin.Net reports quoting publika.az. The Minister noted that in the autumn, like other countries, Georgia is waiting for the second wave:
"It has been said many times that this process is characterized by a certain increase in numbers, but the expectations of the population to feel that this is the second wave and a possible peak are wrong. The current situation in our country is not the possible peak we expect in the fall. "Like other countries, we expect a second wave in the fall. Therefore, citizens should follow the recommendations as much as possible and protect themselves as much as possible," Tikaradze said.
