Meat eaters live longer than vegetarians.
The statement came from Inna Kononenko, PhD, nutritionist, in an interview with Channel Five, Gadin.Net reports quoting publika.az. He said that there is a scientific explanation for this, but for it to work, it is necessary to take the right approach to nutrition:
"Almost everything in our body is made up of protein. Vegetarians do not immediately feel the effects of protein deficiency. Of course, with age it becomes more pronounced. Therefore, meat eaters live longer than vegetarians. There are two main indicators of body aging, the first of which is the thickness of the vascular wall in the common carotid artery: the larger it is, the faster a person ages. Vegetarians and vegans get better results here, but after meat eaters take vitamins B12, D3, K2, everything returns to normal.
The second indicator is the work of mitochondria: the better it works, the better the body feels. And meat eaters are the absolute leaders in this parameter, because the basis of these cells is L-carnitine in meat.
In the end, the expert stressed that the body needs a variety of substances and amino acids, and when we remove meat from the diet, it is physically impossible to compensate for this deficiency.
For information, some experts claim that meat shortens the life of the animal, stress hormones are released in the blood when the animal is slaughtered, and this has a negative effect on the body.
