In this village in Georgia, 17 people were infected with the coronavirus

Special quarantine is in force in several settlements in the Mestia region of Georgia's Samegrelo and Zemo-Svaneti regions.
The decision was made by the Coordination Council, Qadin.Net reports citing publika.az.

According to Deputy Chief of the State Security Service, Alexandre Khozhenashvili, the restrictions will be applied in Mestia settlement, Ushguli and Lenjeri villages:
"Due to the severe epidemiological situation in Ushugli and Lenjeri villages, certain regulations are applied in Mestiya settlement, including public health law. Among them are quarantine bans. Restrictions on entry and exit from Mestiya Municipality are applied," Khozhenashvili said.

It should be noted that 17 cases of infection were registered in Mestiya today.
