79 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 278 people were treated, cured and released.
The statement came from the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
Two people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.
During the last day, 5015 tests were conducted to identify new cases of infection.
The number of active patients is 2513 people.
