18-meter buses will be launched in Baku tomorrow

5 additional M1 A, M2 A and M8 express lines will be put into operation on 10.08.2020 in order to meet the growing passenger demand in connection with the easing of the special quarantine regime.
According to the Baku Transport Agency, 12-meter modern and comfortable buses operated by BakuBus LLC will be at the service of passengers on the express lines, which will operate from 06:30 to 21:00. According to the demand, 18-meter buses will also be involved in the lines.
The M1 A and M2 A express buses, which have been operating in test mode for several days, support the existing M1 and M2 lines.
With the commissioning of the M8 line, Mashtaga, Zabrat, Sabunchu and other residential areas in this direction will be directly connected to the city center. This will allow 13,000 passengers to travel to and from the city center daily. Along this line, 9 stops have been identified in one direction, which are the main points of attraction considered necessary.

Due to the quarantine regime, the BakuCard payment terminal on the M8 line is being installed at the points considered necessary at this stage. We ask our passengers to understand this and plan to increase the balance of BakuCard at the addresses with terminals.

Please be informed that M9 and M10 express buses will be launched in the coming days.
