Facebook employees will work from home until the summer of 2021.
The company has extended its home-based model due to the coronavirus pandemic until July next year, Facebook spokeswoman Nneka Norville said in a statement, adding that the decision was made on the advice of health and community experts.
The company will provide employees with $ 1,000 in addition to their salary for the needs of working from home.
Google, one of the US technology giants, last week announced that it has extended the model of working from home until June 30, 2021.
