President Ilham Aliyev's order to issue lump sum payments of 190 manat in 13 cities and regions where the hardened special quarantine regime is applied will be implemented in a short time and these payments will be provided in the coming days.
The statement came from Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev at a press conference on measures taken to support employment and social welfare during the pandemic and the tasks ahead in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev: "Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli 53 million manat will be spent on these payments, which will cover 278,000 unemployed and informally employed low-income people in Mingachevir, Sumgayit, Yevlakh and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Salyan regions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the total amount of funds allocated for one support direction, the lump sum payment program, will reach 333 million manat.
