Arzu Samadova, deputy head of the Biodiversity Protection Service, said the baby was healthy and had already adapted to local conditions and joined the herd:
"According to the Cooperation Agreement signed between IDEA Public Union and Shahdag National Park, 12 bison from French and Belgian zoos were brought to the Ismayilli section of Shahdag National Park in May 2019 in order to restore extinct bison, reintroduce and increase their habitat." .
According to Samadova, the number of bison has already reached 15.
