In French cities, the decision of local authorities to wear a mask in public places is also mandatory.
The prefectures and mayor's offices of the relevant cities have decided to make the mask mandatory, Gadin.Net reports quoting the Telegraph. Those who do not wear a mask in all areas or parts of these cities will be fined 135 euros for the first time, 1,500 euros for the second time, six months in prison for the third time or 3,750 euros.

Due to the recent increase in the number of people infected with the COVID-19 virus, it is mandatory to wear a mask in public places, as well as on the beach.
